However, some informations are still missing : some works of Abel Gabert, are only known by their title, no other record was discovered for various reasons : lack of scores in the parishes, or in France, the separation of the Church and the State, which involved the closing, then the sale of old seminaries and of the diocese, with the removals and reorganizations which followed.

In the Sixties, the assignment change of the seminars of Isère after their closing, just as the changes of repertory at the choral societies of church were not without any consequences, neither. The experiment shows, however, that partitions can come out from some wall cupboard or attic.
